During a tell-all
interview with Anele on Real Talk, Minnie Dlamini poured her heart out about
various aspects of her life including her highly-publicised breakup with soccer
star Itumeleng Khune. The TV personality's whirlwind romance with the soccer
star was the envy of many, and when the couple announced their split in 2014 –
everyone was heartbroken by the news.
Even though Minnie has
spoken out about their breakup in the past and she has moved on from the
relationship, her feature on Anele's talk show can be dubbed as one of her most
candid interviews yet. Taking a trip down memory lane Minnie spoke about the
first time she and Itu went on a date.
The goalkeeper apparently
got her phone number from a mutual friend and called to ask her out, but Minnie
was working out of town at the time.
"He said I will
fetch you from the airport, then we can have lunch and I will take you home. We
had sushi and it became our favourite," Minnie said. Anele went on to ask
about their highly-publicised breakup, which captured the attention of their
fans for months afterward
