Please Advice Me: Should I dump my boyfriend because he’s always broke?

My
boyfriend never has money and lately he doesn’t even pay when we go out to
dinner. I’m the one who is paying for it. He moved into my apartment but
doesn’t help me pay for it or anything.
I
try to motivate him to further himself but he doesn’t do anything about it.
I
actually really like his personality and the way he’s very se.xual but I really
don’t want to end up having him leech off of me forever. I am going to be going
to medical school and will be well off one day, while he isn’t doing anything
to better himself. Should I just tell him to get out of my place and dump him?
